Unfortunately the Sikh Community, these days instead of doing the Path themselves, outsource the Path to the Granthis on payment basis. Not only this, no-one sits with the Guru Granth Sahib during the Path - thus negating the very essence of Gurbani which says " Guru hai Bani" and "Khoj Shabd main lay". For many Granthis Path is more a business than Sewa and the Guru is not accorded proper respect and reverence. |
