THIEVES IN GOD'S HOME |
|
| |
All religious places in the world are infected with unscrupulous humans. They do understand that it is not a good deed to steal but greed overtakes them and they think that it is easier to steal when a person is engrossed in listening to Gurbani teachings (meditation). What a sin. A person is apt to commit sin unknowingly but he does not like to sin. The sinner is who commits sin knowingly like to commit the sin A true/dedicated Sikh goes to Gurdwara and listens to Gurbani (teachings of Guru Granth) there had been instances that some lose money as their pockets are picked by thieves who indulge in wrong deeds and have no moral. Similarly many others try to indulge in unsocial acts and bring bad name to their religion. Such persons do not find peace in this world and ruin their lives. They are sinners. Guru Granth has solution for every problem/ question in life. For example for such thieves who steal in religious places, the message is- 1.Page-155 <font face=gurmukhilip> kir corI mY jw ikCu lIAw qw min Blw BwieAw ] </a>When I stole something by deception, then my mind was pleased. kar choree mai jaa kichh lee-aa taa man bhalaa bhaa-i-aa. hliq n soBw pliq n FoeI Aihlw jnmu gvwieAw ]3] I have no honor in this world, and I shall find no shelter in the world hereafter. My life has been lost, wasted in vain! ||3|| halat na sobhaa palat na dho-ee ahilaa janam gavaa-i-aa. ||3|| 2.Page- 1249 dyis prdyis Dnu corwie Awix muih pwieAw ] Dės pardės Dhan chorāė an muhi pāiā. Stealing the wealth of his own country and other lands, he brings it home and feeds them(his family). News is rife that people lose their belongings in Gurdwaras. Even those who are to serve at Religious places setting an example of honesty and humility indulge in stealing when greed overpowers them. They get entrapped by MAYA, who tell others to refrain from such acts. This brings a bad name not only to the person concerned rather to the religion to which he belongs. There can not be two opinions about it. To adopt morality and good deeds one needs to learn/practice continuously by listening or reading Guru Granth to become a better person in the world. Sikh Prayer ends everyday with the words-(JO PRABH KO MILBO CHAHAI, KHOJ SABAD MEIN LEH- those who wish to find God can search in Hymns of Gurbani) anything done with clear heart is fruitful. It is well known fact. Gurbani emphasize that the name of Universal GOD is TRUTH. Thus a true person will never commit sin/bad deeds and always try to live a truthful and pious life. Sikhpoint is concerned and requests SANGAT that as soon as you see anyone doing a bad deed try to stop that person and help to make this world a better place. Your small effort will certainly bring a bigger change. Mail-Text Sadh Sangat Ji Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh !! News is rife that people lose their belongings in Gurdwaras.
