Any community in this world is known by its culture. Sikhs have history written with blood. Sikhs had been proud warriors and fought wars with Moghuls. Thereafter they served in English Army, fought world wars, and sacrificed their lives as freedom fighters to get freedom. Being just 2% of total population of India their sacrifices for freedom were more than 80%. They created history unparallel in the world.

A sorry state of affairs is that the younger generation has drifted away from all this and got lost in entertainments and pleasures instead of following the rich values created by their ancestors. No doubt religious heads have to take the blame as they could not streamline the energy of youth for translating in cultural values

In a film called SINGH IN KINNG the filmmakers could not find a real Singh to act. The facts are far from real. In other words it is a famous saying that if you wish to kill a nation kill its culture first, that nation is bound to die. The sad state of affairs is that young ones are not aware of this. It may not be too late if they realize this fact and try to change and follow their rich culture which they can be proud of instead of imitating the western culture.

Do they know the definition of Singh? In dreams they think that they are Singhs and Kings sans its real meaning. It is not too late to awake up and understand the situation and state of affairs.
