'The Gold Bracelet'

'The Gold Bracelet' Scores at Palm Beach International Film Festival winning the Audience Choice Award for Best Film. This is the second Audience Award that the film has earned. And now it has been officially selected to be the Opening Night Film at the Jacksonville Film Festival. This year the Jacksonville Film Festival will feature its festival around the Bollywood meets Hollywood theme. 'The Gold Bracelet' will be featured on opening night after the Opening Night Reception, and followed by an exclusive party at the hottest new venue, Mark's. Prior to the showing, Bhangra dancers will be featured. And on Sautrday night, Hollywood and Bollywood are honored for their long, illustrious work to change the world.

The film is showing at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 29th and 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 2nd at Landmark's Keystone Art Cinema in the Fashion Mall at the Indianapolis International Film Festival in its Indiana Premiere.

In an Indianapolis Star article K. P. Singh, an architect and artist said, The Gold Bracelet is "about the triumphs, tragedy and resilience of a Sikh American family in California caught up in the aftermath and aftershocks of 9/11...[it] is an invitation to Americans to know their new neighbors," says K. P. Singh, an Indianapolis architect, writer, and artist; and also a respected member of the Indianapolis community.

So far, film festivals have been host to sold-out shows for the film. The film is introduced by Bhangra dancers and followed up by a Q & A with the director and his cast. The audience at Newport Beach Film Festival were thrilled to see the West Coast Premiere of the film and and they awarded 'The Gold Bracelet' with the Audience Choice Award for Best Film at the Palm Beach International Film Festival.
