How can I know Your greatness, Lord
When I cannot fathom, nor imagine,
The countless attributes that fiercely compete
To celebrate and proclaim Your Immaculate Glory,
Provide just a glimpse of Your Magnificence.

Your Kingdom stretches
Beyond known dimensions;
Your Power transcends imagined realm.
Throughout the light years of space,
Your Universe abounds in myriad mysteries:
Dazzling sights and sounds; wonder of Creation;
Your galaxies cluster in anticipation,
Dance in joyful orbits, in obedience, in salutation
To the sounds of Creation and Praise
In courtyards bedecked with heavenly splendor.
Your angels spread carpets of jeweled stars
Across celestial valleys, stretch Prayer-Ragmalas
Along Your passage through their neighborhood;

My mind, senses, cannot possibly grasp,
My spirit cannot possibly fathom, nor imagine,
Your mysterious ways or cosmic grandeur;
In ignorance, I seek not, and find not,
The worthy prayers in which to dwell;
The right offerings to place at Your Lotus Feet;
Nor follow the righteous pathways that lead
Towards Your Sacred Court;

In awe, with humility, I pray
To be led forward to Your Gate;
To a place and spirit; rightful understanding,
From where I may recognize and witness,
Your manifestations and reflections
In all that I imagine, and experience.

Heavenly Father, guide my labors and thoughts.
May in trust, I learn to surrender;
May in faith, in reverence, in gratitude,
Fashion worthy gifts as offerings for Your Altar,
Pray: fill my spirit with Your Light, Your Presence.
