The second hymn of the morning prayer is Jaap or Jaap Sahib. A composition of the Tenth Master, Guru Gobind Singh, different from the Jap in rhythm and vocabularly. It elaborates the same, main issue of Naam Simran but exhorting the seekers that neither a quantitative approach in counting names of God nor a limit of books which contain His analysis can measure His immenseness.
