ATTAINING GURUSHIP

When Guru Gobind Singh ji (who by that time was Gobind Rai) attained Guru ship he was only nine years old. But he led the Sikh community in such a way that even the elders looked at him with pride. He made arrangements to face the problems, which were to come in the near future. Few of the features, which he implemented, are as follows- #He encouraged Young men to learn the art of Horse Riding, Swimming, and other Sports. #He told the Sikh community to remain ready and become fluent in the art of fighting with weapons. #He told the people to come in his court with donations of weapons and horses. #He started training people in various methods of war, and competitions were held. #An Arms factory was established. #Leather factory was also established.
