Gursikhs learning different methods of Warfare

Holi is a seasonal festival of India. Guru Gobind Singh ji asked his Sikhs to celebrate "Hola Mahallah" instead "Hola" means "Attack" and "Mahallah" means the "Place to Attack". The master started this custom to install a feeling encouragement among his followers and propel them in the art of war fighting. Various competitions were held where two groups were formed and were asked to capture a particular place. He he used to teach his people the methods of warfare. The winning group was given a Saropa. This festival was celebrated with lot of enthusiasm and joy.
